Certified Intervention Professional (CIP)

Has an education background that specializes in the addiction and behavioral health field. Their skill set and work experience come from many years of creating treatment plans for families,  dealing with resistant patients and helping family or friends working in the addiction and mental health field.

What is a Trained Interventionist?

A trained interventionist is a professional that is a specialist in the areas of drug or alcohol addictions, behavioral health, and or mental health.

Top Intervention Hotline

Our interventionists are trained in mental health, addictions and behavioral health. To simplify:  utilizing a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) is much like going to a doctor with a particular physical health problem and the physician referring you to a specialist, who is an expert on a physical issue such as heart disease, kidney disease and more.

An Interventionist is much like a specialist, practicing in the area of addiction, behavior health and or mental health.

What's the success rate for interventions?

According to research, interventions work 85% of the time. The 15% who do not seek treatment at the intervention meeting are more likely to accept treatment within two weeks, as long as the family members are willing to follow through on the set limitations and continue to gain recovery support for the whole family unit. Interventions are a successful process that help family and friends understand the cycle of addiction and connect with recovery resources.
